First Cold

I think Rylee has her first cold but I am not sure. Her nose is running and she is very congested. She went to bed great thanks to BABYVICKS! I swear our whole house smells like that but she is doing a lot better now.

I am still unsure if she had an allergic reaction or if she was just starting to get a cold.

Here is a picture of her in her new johnny jumper. She likes it but is still unsure about how to use it.

No More Rice Cereal

We tried to put Rylee on some rice cereal as you can see from the pictures but it did not work as planned. Rylee has a allergic reaction around 10:30 with a extremely running nose and never had a fever. We are hoping that it is only an allergic reaction not a another ear infection but as for right now her ears are not bugging her at all! Thank Goodness!

We are going to hold off the rice cereal for a while now because Rylee needs to get better soon because we are flying to Arizona on Thursday to watch Brian's first football game on Saturday. We are getting excited to see Grandma and Grandpa Jensen along with Grandma and Grandpa Conway

First Meal

Rylee had rice cereal for the first time today. She did a great job and she actually liked and didn't spit that much out. We are hoping that she will start sleeping more soundly during the night. She is quite the mover and now discovered that she likes to sleep on her stomach no matter how many times we turn her over during the night.

4 Month Appointment

Rylee had her 4 month appointment this morning. She now weighs 13 pounds 11 ounces which is the 50% and is 25 1/2 inches tall which is the 90% (she must get her height from her mom!). Her poor little head is only 40 cm which is the 25%.

Rylee is now rolling over all the time and is talking up a storm. She can now push herself up with her arms and move a little bit. She is going to be crawling in no time I have a feeling. She is also starting to teeth which is horrible for me and her. Dr. Clifford could feel her teeth starting to come down. She now puts everything I mean everything in her mouth. I was doing laudry yesterday and had Ry on the ground and I turn to put things in the washer and I turned around and she pushed herself and grabbed a dirty sock.

We are going to start Rice Cereal this week and we are hoping that she will start sleeping better with a fuller tummy.

She had more shots today and only cried for a little bit. Which was a lot better than last time. We are going to keep giving her tylenol so she wont be in any more pain.

I will upload some pictures later of Ms. Rylee.

Rylee Is Moving

Rylee is starting to get much more independent. This week she is starting to roll over and be free. She would prefer to be rolling around on the ground and or in her walker. She love the walker because she can just kick all day long and nobody is keeping her from moving. I have a feeling that we are going to be in trouble when she
starts crawling and walking.

Here are Rylee beautiful eyes!

Rylee Talking

As I was putting away dishes I kept on hearing Rylee talking and talking. I then noticed that she was talking to her self. I had to go grab my camera and then hopefully she will continue to talk. Well as you can see we have a Catty Kathy on our hands right now.

Rylee's First Scrimmage

When my mom and I went shopping at Old Navy my mom found this neat shirt for Rylee to wear and thought it would be perfect for today! She is also featuring her Nike Kicks Too. We also went to the Bannock County Fair and Rylee saw her first horse and wasn't too scared! Rylee has had an exciting day. Off to the scrimmage to show Dad her new outfit!

Feeling Better at the Jensen Household

Rylee is so much better. Her ears and throat are not hurting anymore. After 3 doctors in 2 days things should be better right? She had a nice and relaxing week with Grandma Sue and we are sad to see her leave. I really think I need another set of hands in my house during football season. Here are a few pictures of her. I can't believe that she is almost 4 months in a few weeks.

I Love My Walker (I wish things would talk back to me)

Looking Cute

Rylee was Kicking Too Much During The Night and Kicked Her Leg Out of Her PJ's (Notice she is sideways in her crib)

There will be more pictures to come tomorrow. We have an exciting day already planed: Farmers Market, Pocatello Fair, and finally Dad's first scrimmage. I can't wait to show everyone the outfit I have planned for her. We also have a Johnny Jumper coming this week too. I know Rylee will love it so much!

Rylee's First Ear Infection

Let the fussiness being at the Jensen household. Rylee got her first ear infection last night. It started a few nights ago when she started having a cough and then she woke up and spit up all of her bed two nights ago. I took her to Urgent Care and they told me that nothing was wrong that she just fine! Thanks A LOT I will send you the ER bill. Last night around 8PM we did her bedtime routine and she was not having it at all. She was crying for 2 hours straight and I even tried to give her another bath too but she was fine until I took her out the tub! So I called our on-call doctor and they told me to take her to the ER. Well we stopped by HOLT to pick up Dad and then went to the ER. At this point she was screaming and choking because of how hard she was crying. Luckily we have a fast track in our ER for more urgent cases but don't let fast fool you because it took the doctor another hour to come into the room. She finally settled down and we saw the doctor and she now has ear infections. I love my life because this was Rylee's first week in day care and we already have a ear infection. Well life goes on. My mom was kind enough to drive over to Pocatello to watch Rylee when Mom and Dad go to work. I used up all of my vacation time with the maternity leave and have none left!

Please Pray that Rylee has a fast recovery and sleeps through the night soon.

Love,

The Jensens

The Jensen Family

We got these pictures taken for the 2009 - 2010 ISU Football Media guide. Rylee did a great job but we just couldn't get a smile out of her. Maybe next year! I also started back to work today and it was quite hard but we need to eat so back to work I go.
